I really like the softness of these images… I’m tempted to try a roll of colour film next.

What was I photographing on this day in previous years?

Five years ago it was the comings and goings at Stenson Lock on the Trent & Mersey Canal, a gongoozling Photography Friday with Rachel.

The lock itself is visible through the bridge and to the right is the excellent Stenson Lock Coffee Shop (their breakfasts are well worth trying).

A little while back I picked up a Nikon F65 35mm SLR camera for wifey from Harrison Cameras and shot a test roll of film almost immediately… What I didn’t do quite as promptly however, was develop the film!

Better late than never eh?
