Developed in Ilford DDX at 1:4, 9 mins at 20°c.

I recently dropped my Konica Big Mini and apart from a couple of tiny scratches it appeared to have survived my clumsiness but of course the true test would come from further use…

This roll of JCH Streetpan 400 had been in the camera for a while so I decided to finish it off during a stroll around town, thankfully the camera seems to be working fine.

Digitised using Nikon D5600 & AF-S Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8 and Nikon ES-2 Film Digitising Adapter with minimal cropping and tweaking in Lightroom Classic CC.

A couple of years ago a pal (Hi Simon!) gave me a quantity of Fuji Provia RDP II 100 and Velvia RVP 50 slide film that had all expired in 1997 or 1998. A bit of research suggested exposing it at box speed and cross my fingers for reasonable results.

Even though I bracketed my exposures this year, every frame of this roll is terribly underexposed… atmospheric though!

I really should spend more time in my local park, it’s a lovely spot to soak up the sun and watch the world go by…

The Crossley Park bandstand dates from 1999 and regular brass band concerts are held in it during the summer months. It replaced the 1937 original that was destroyed by fire in 1997.
