10 years ago it was the 1940s-themed Quorn & Woodhouse station on the Great Central Railway.
No trains were running but the Butler Henderson Café was open and hot chocolate and cake were definitely on the menu!

Six years ago it was this statue of Desperate Dan from the much missed comic The Dandy.
Created by artists Tony and Susie Morrow the statue stands on High Street in Dundee, home to DC Thomson, the publisher of both The Dandy and The Beano (whose character Minnie the Minx can be seen in the background aiming her catapult at Dan!)
