Another image from my recent stroll around Chester Green in Derby.
It took me a moment or two to work out why this simple view of a city street appealed to me quite so much… No cars!

This row of cottages stands empty, somewhere in the Berwickshire countryside… Such places start me daydreaming…

Another image from a twin-lens reflex (TLR) camera, but this time it’s a YashicaMat 124G.
It’s a camera I’ve never had much success with in the past… The taking lens has a little fungus inside and I’ve always found it difficult to focus. That said, previous attempts at using it were hand-held and lately I’ve been using a tripod more and more which (for me at least) makes focusing easier.

Ondu 135 Panoramic Pinhole + ND6 filter, 25s, f167 – Kosmo Foto Mono
Developed in Adox Rodinal at 1:50, 9 mins at 20°c.
The first roll of film through my Ondu 135 Panoramic pinhole camera wasn’t a total success, the first half of the roll suffering from overlapping frames as a result of me not counting ‘clicks’ correctly as the film’s sprocket holes catch on a small ‘tongue’ as the film is wound on…
I did eventually realise there is a definite ‘click, click, CLICK!’ though and counting the ‘CLICK’ has prevented overlapping frames.

Bungay Street in Sheffield, photographed on a brisk morning a couple of weeks ago… it’s hard to imagine now but until the 1960s there were terraced houses running up both sides.
