These narrow boats are moored at Langley Mill canal basin at the junction of the Cromford and Erewash Canals.

This is a small section of the Yang Fujia Building on the Jubilee Campus, University of Nottingham. The striking structure was designed by Ken Shuttleworth and is named after former University Chancellor Professor Yang Fujia.

Another image from Expired Film Day 2025.

Aspire, designed by Ken Shuttleworth is a 200ft tall steel sculpture on the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham and was, until overtaken by Anish Kapoor’s Orbit, the tallest free standing public work of art in the United Kingdom.

Definitely one of those occasions when I wish I’d packed a shorter focal length lens than 50mm!
