Nine years ago it was Ariel, at her human’s home in France where she loved to sit in the shade under the roof covering the water well.
A couple of people have likened this next image to a scene in the 1997 film Titanic… “Photograph me like one of your French cats” 😂

Nine years ago it was the hamlet of Villegeneray in the Nièvre department in central France, specifically the house I was staying in, although the word ‘house’ doesn’t do the place justice!

Eight years ago it was the landscape around the commune of Donzy in the Nièvre in central France.
It was my first visit and I fell in love with the tranquil understated beauty of the area…

A delightfully rustic place, the ramshackle woodwork above supported the roof of a building home to a tractor and the Hollyhock was growing through the framework of a water well!
