I’m finally finding some enthusiasm for blogging again…

This image is from a trip to Fife back in March, I liked the juxtaposition of the crow steps on one building and the shadow cast by others.

The memorial to all who served at R.A.F. Sutton Bridge in Lincolnshire, photographed during a trip to Norfolk in September. The propeller blade is from a Hawker Hurricane.

The structure in the background is Cross Keys Bridge, a swing bridge spanning the River Nene. From 1897 until 1965 the bridge carried both the A17 road and the Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway line from Spalding to King’s Lynn. Now it just carries the A17.

You might have noticed my fondness for classic motorcycles… This beautiful 1943 BSA M20 was photographed at one of the local ‘mustn’t miss’ events, the annual Classic Motorcycle Day at Crich Tramway Village in Derbyshire.
