I paid a couple of visits to Berwick-upon-Tweed last year and it’s a place I could easily spend a lot more time in.

These chimney stacks were photographed during a stroll around the town walls (and before a pint in the fantastic Curfew Micropub!)

This winch is quietly rusting away beside the harbour and only a couple of feet away from the bench where we tucked into a picnic lunch…

Again, I could’ve done with getting much closer with the wide-angle Ondu camera!

Another pic from a recent visit to Craster in Northumberland, this time taken on the ONDU 6×6 Pocket pinhole camera.

Last weekend’s trip north came just a couple of days after I received my camera in the post so I just had to take it!

I’ve not yet got the hang of getting close enough to the subject with the camera’s wide 115° angle of view (and no viewfinder) but I’m sure practice will make perfect!

Saturday saw another madcap round trip to Scotland so that my pal Mark could go to a football match, this time in Edinburgh.

The journey gave us good views of the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and that reminded me that somewhere I’d got some black & white pics taken there in 1998 (filed away so safely that it’s taken me all afternoon to find them!)

The couple of days I spent on the island were marred by awful weather and the negatives are lacking in contrast, something I could’ve improved upon had I processed the film myself…
