Another pic from the charity shop find Olympus XA2.
I love the area around Brighton for photography, so much to see, so many characters! Saltdean, a few miles east of central Brighton, is a much quieter place for a Sunday morning stroll though…

Well it looks like the Olympus XA2 I found for the princely sum of £1.99 in a charity shop last year works just fine!

Nikon Lite·Touch Zoom70W – Ilford XP2 Super
An image from another forgotten roll of Ilford XP2!
This time it’s from a Nikon Lite·Touch Zoom70W that if memory serves was found in a charity shop in Sheringham, Norfolk in 2017.

Nikon FE, Nikon Series E 28mm f/2.8, 1/125s, f8 – Kodak Gold 400 rated at ISO 200
Another image from a recent ‘Photography Friday’ outing to Curbar Edge in the Peak District.
The Nikon (not ‘Nikkor’) Series E 28mm f/2.8 is a lovely little lens, tiny and lightweight and it’s often in my bag when I’m not planning on needing a wide-angle lens. The Series E lenses are underrated but I’m a big fan, owning the 28mm, 50mm, 100mm and the fantastic 75-150mm zoom!

Pentax MZ-M, Pentax-A 50mm f/2 – 1/90s, f8, – Kosmo Foto Mono
Developed in Ilford DDX at 1:4, 8 mins at 20°c.
Yet another image from the recently developed roll of Kosmo Foto Mono that had been lurking in a Pentax MZ-M since 2018.
I must photograph this railway signal post every single time I visit High Peak Junction, where the Cromford & High Peak Railway (C&HPR) met the Cromford Canal until the latter was abandoned in 1944.

Pentax MZ-M, Pentax-A 50mm f/2 – 1/125s, f8, – Ilford XP2 Super rated at ISO 320
This roll of Ilford XP2 Super has been knocking around in my desk drawer for quite some time… I knew it was partially exposed but couldn’t remember how many shots I’d taken on it.
One!
Taken during a ‘Photography Friday’ outing with Rachel in January 2018! Film loaded, first shot taken, camera died! (a different Pentax MZ-M from the one I’ve posted pics from recently).
