Photography & General Ramblings…
Pukin’ Pumpkin
Fujifilm X-T2, Fujinon XF 18-135mm f3.5~5.6 R LM OIS WR at 52mm, 1/100s, f8, ISO 400
Although I’m not a huge fan of Halloween (or All Hallows’ Eve as it’s known in Scotland) this Pukin’ Pumpkin made me chuckle when I spotted it whilst on holiday in October last year…
Desperate Dan, Dawg & Minnie the Minx
Fujifilm X-T1, Fujinon XF 50mm f2 R WR, 1/1500s, f2.8, ISO 400
What was I photographing on this day in previous years?
Six years ago it was this statue of Desperate Dan from the much missed comic The Dandy.
Created by artists Tony and Susie Morrow the statue stands on High Street in Dundee, home to DC Thomson, the publisher of both The Dandy and The Beano (whose character Minnie the Minx can be seen in the background aiming her catapult at Dan!)

What was I photographing on this day in previous years?
Eight years ago it was the landscape around the commune of Donzy in the Nièvre in central France.
It was my first visit and I fell in love with the tranquil understated beauty of the area…

An image from a few weeks ago… when the sun shone!
This 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood Series-Sixty Special was spotted, not on Sunset Boulevard, CA, but rather just off Kings Road in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire!
Great tit (Parus major)
Fujifilm X-T2, Fujinon XF 100-400mm f4.5~5.6 R LM OIS WR at 252mm, 1/250s, f8, ISO 2500
The look
Fujifilm X-T2, Fujinon XF 18-135mm f3.5~5.6 R LM OIS WR at 70mm, 1/100s, f8, ISO 800
What was I photographing on this day in previous years?
Four years ago it was a small classic car show in a local park and this appropriately dressed couple caught my eye…
Does the image title refer to ‘the look’ they’re exchanging or their outfits… You decide.
