Another pic from the charity shop find Olympus XA2.
I love the area around Brighton for photography, so much to see, so many characters! Saltdean, a few miles east of central Brighton, is a much quieter place for a Sunday morning stroll though…

Well it looks like the Olympus XA2 I found for the princely sum of £1.99 in a charity shop last year works just fine!

Nikon Lite·Touch Zoom70W – Ilford XP2 Super
An image from another forgotten roll of Ilford XP2!
This time it’s from a Nikon Lite·Touch Zoom70W that if memory serves was found in a charity shop in Sheringham, Norfolk in 2017.

Pentax MZ-M, Pentax-A 50mm f/2 – 1/125s, f8, – Ilford XP2 Super rated at ISO 320
This roll of Ilford XP2 Super has been knocking around in my desk drawer for quite some time… I knew it was partially exposed but couldn’t remember how many shots I’d taken on it.
One!
Taken during a ‘Photography Friday’ outing with Rachel in January 2018! Film loaded, first shot taken, camera died! (a different Pentax MZ-M from the one I’ve posted pics from recently).

Developed in Ilford DDX at 1:4, 8 mins at 20°c.
Another pic from one of my visits to Berwick-upon-Tweed last year.
The buildings on Quay Walls date from the 18th century and are all at least Grade II listed.
The Nikkor 35mm f/2 AI-S lens has become a firm favourite as a slightly wider than standard ‘standard’ lens and I find myself using it more and more…

An image from another roll of film that’s been lurking in a camera since last year…
I paid a couple of visits to Berwick-upon-Tweed last year and it’s a place I could easily spend a lot more time in.
These chimney stacks were photographed during a stroll around the town walls (and before a pint in the fantastic Curfew Micropub!)

Another image from the roll of film that’s been lurking in my Nikon F3HP since last October’s trip to Scotland!
This is the control tower at the former Royal Air Force (RAF) station at Wigtown in Scotland. The station was active between 1941 and 1945 and from 1947 to 1948, mainly in a training role, but a number of operational squadrons also visited the station, the last being the Bomber Command Trials Unit flying Avro Lancasters.
