What was I photographing on this day in previous years?
Five years ago it was Roker Pier and Lighthouse, on a very blustery day!
The seabirds definitely add to the picture but a just a bit too far away for me, with my limited bird identification skills, to tell what they are.

Another pic from Port Seton last September. LH.230 is a fishing trawler and was built by Eyemouth Boat Building Co. Ltd. in 1982. The ‘LH’ indicates she’s registered just along the coast at Leith.

11 years ago it was the Norfolk resort of Cromer and I was playing with an ND3.0 (10 stop) neutral density filter to give long exposure times… this 15 second exposure being my favourite!
