‘Hendo’s!’
Nikon FE2, Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 AI-S – 1/250s, f8, – Kodak Portra 400 rated at ISO 200
A trio of brass bottles, modelled on the famous Henderson’s Relish (Hendo’s) bottle, adorning a seating area in Leavygreave Road, Sheffield, a few yards away from the former Henderson’s Relish factory. The seating areas and ‘planter tables’ were designed by local artist David Appleyard.
A happy reminder of a wander around my favourite city on an utterly glorious day in June 2019.
If there is a finer condiment to splash on a meal I’ve yet to taste it!

Fujifilm X-E1, Fujinon XF 18-55mm f2.8~4 R LM OIS at 27mm, 1/80s, f9, ISO 800
What was I photographing on this day in previous years?
Five years ago it was the fishing boat ‘Ellie Jane’ at East Runton near Cromer in Norfolk.
‘Ellie Jane’ has featured on this blog before but I make no excuses for including another image from one of my favourite spots on our coastline…

Fujifilm X-T2, Fujinon XF 18-135mm f3.5~5.6 R LM OIS WR at 46mm, 1/240s, f8, ISO 200
I’ve started tinkering with Capture One Express for Fujifilm and this is the first image I’ve edited with it…
It’s too early to tell if I’m going to get on with the software or not but one thing I definitely don’t like is the lack of any way to add a watermark to images! (I used GraphicConverter 11 to do that here…)
