Single frame… Of Adox Color Implosion!

Leave Nothing But Your Footprint

Nikon F75, AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D, 1/180s, f8 – Adox Color Implosion!

I’m not sure how long this roll of Adox Color Implosion! had been sitting in my F75 but Adox appear to have ceased production of this film in 2017!

I obviously didn’t pay much attention to the tell-tale window on the back of the camera either as until I unloaded it I thought it was a roll of black & white film!

Slide film Sunday… ‘MISS PATTIE’

We’ve not had a ‘Slide Film Sunday’ in a while have we?

The fishing boat E58 MISS PATTIE was photographed at Lyme Regis in September 2003 and as usual the slide surfaced while I was looking for something else entirely!

An image from Nymans in West Sussex, taken around this time last year…

I really should make notes when photographing gardens, most of them label their plants after all but I believe that these beautiful flowers are some variety of Hellenium, also known as ‘Sneezeweed’.

I’ve splashed out on a few more rolls of Ektachrome but haven’t yet had chance to shoot any of it this summer…

Wishing my friends and readers ‘across the pond’ a super and safe July 4th! 🇺🇸

The above sign adorns Dave’s Comics in Brighton, East Sussex, a business occupying two shops on Sydney Street… but if memory serves this sign is actually above the one at No.3!

Another image shot on Kodak Ektachrome E100 last summer…

I’ve photographed this cheeky sign that advertises That Little Tea Shop in the Lanes in Brighton a few times but as yet I’ve not sampled said shop’s menu… I really must pop in for tea and cake at some point!

I hadn’t used slide film in almost 20 years until I bought a couple of rolls of Kodak Ektachrome E100 from Analogue Wonderland last summer.

This gleaming 1956 Chevrolet 3100 pickup was photographed at MFN‘s ‘American ‘n’ Classic Car ‘n’ Truck ‘n’ Bike’ show in August on the fantastically compact and lightweight Nikon F75 SLR fitted with the very underrated AF Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6D lens…

I loved the results from the Ektachrome, the images are sharp, contrasty and so very colourful, hopefully I’ll be able to shoot some more this summer!
