Developed in Ilford Ilfotec DD-X at 1:9, 11 mins at 20°c.

An image from a recent(ish) trip to Norfolk… I absolutely love the ONDU 6×6 Pocket pinhole camera but no matter how often I think I’m too close to my subject, I’m never close enough!

Digitised using Nikon D5600 & AF-S Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8, pixl-latr and Negative Lab Pro plugin with minimal cropping and tweaking in Lightroom Classic CC.

Something a little unusual today (for me anyway…) Monochrome Monday on 110 film!

The Fujica Pocket 350 Zoom is a quirky little camera and will be described in detail in a future post.

Digitised using Nikon D5600 & AF-S Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8, pixl-latr (with a 110 insert from Simon Forster Photographic) and Negative Lab Pro plugin with minimal cropping and tweaking in Lightroom Classic CC.

What was I photographing on this day in previous years?

Eight years ago it was the Norfolk coastline…

Happisburgh lighthouse must be one of the most photographed structures in Norfolk and I certainly couldn’t resist pointing my camera at it…

For the pillbox fans out there the above structure is a type FW3/26, dating from 1940/early 1941.

What was I photographing on this day in previous years?

Four years ago it was the seaside town of Sheringham in Norfolk.

I can’t remember where we were staying but this image was definitely taken whilst wandering to or from the pub (probably the Windham Arms… they serve an excellent pint!)

Single frame… Weybourne Hope, October 2011

Nikon D300, AF-S DX NIKKOR 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR at 80mm, 1/125s, f11, ISO 200

A quick pic from the (digital) archives today… it popped up while I was looking for something else and as it was taken ten years ago today I thought I’d include it!

Weybourne Hope is where the shingle spit of Blakeney Point meets the North Norfolk cliffs and there is an old saying that refers to the deep inshore water here that would allow ships to unload troops and stores here in the event of an invasion.

‘He who would all England win, should at Weybourne Hope begin’
