Monochrome Monday… A tree shades the goal…

Nikkormat FT2, NIKKOR-S.C 50mm f/1.4, 1/125, f16 – Ansco/Gaf Hypan 320 rated at ISO 200
Developed in Ilford Ilfotec DD-X at 1:4, 10 mins at 20°c.

A couple of years ago, as part of the Emulsive Secret Santa, I was sent a roll of 35mm film labelled ‘Hypan 320’ and I finally decided to shoot it on Expired Film Day last week.

I haven’t been able to find much out about this film other than it was likely to have been from a bulk roll of 1960s vintage, with the only exposure and developing advice I found suggesting exposing at ISO 200 and developing as per Ilford FP4 Plus and this is exactly what I did.

The development advice was spot on but the roll could’ve done with at least another stop of exposure… I’m pleased to get any image at all out of a roll of film so old though!

Digitised using Nikon D5500 & AF-S Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8, pixl-latr and Negative Lab Pro plugin with minimal cropping and tweaking in Lightroom Classic CC.
