What was I photographing on this day in previous years?
Five years ago it was the landscape around Ilam Park in Staffordshire during a Photography Friday outing with Rachel.
The 158-acre country park is on both banks of the River Manifold and is a great place for a walk at any time of year but especially in autumn!

What was I photographing on this day in previous years?
Nine years ago it was one of one of Hector Guimard’s iconic Art Nouveau entrances to the Paris Métro. This one stands directly opposite the main entrance of Gare du Nord at the junction of Place Napoléon III and Boulevard de Denain.
